Young-Earth Arguments — Source Material

Young-earth creationism interprets biblical chronology and Genesis as supporting a recent creation, commonly measured in thousands rather than billions of years. That is an interpretive position, not the current scientific consensus.

Modern geochronology estimates Earth at approximately 4.54 billion years using multiple radiometric methods and ancient materials. The Biblical Pattern should not claim that science has no method for estimating Earth's age or present a numerical young-earth age as though Scripture directly states one.
