Lord's Supper / Giving Cross-Reference
Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper with bread and the cup as a memorial of His body and blood. The church observes it in remembrance of Him, proclaiming His death until He comes and examining oneself before partaking. Acts 20:7 records disciples assembling on the first day of the week to break bread, providing an approved apostolic-era example.
