Homosexuality / Natural?

Romans 1:26-27 describes same-sex sexual relations as “against nature” within Paul's argument concerning humanity's rejection of God and disordered conduct. The passage addresses sexual acts and their moral character; it should not be converted into a modern scientific claim about genes, psychology, or the complete developmental causes of sexual orientation.

Scripture's moral conclusion must be allowed to stand on its own terms. At the same time, the passage should not be expanded into claims it does not make about every temptation, feeling, or biological question. The Biblical Pattern distinguishes what Scripture says about conduct from scientific questions Scripture does not address.
