CATHOLICS: How does God reveal His will to man??? Does He speak to us through the Bible alone or thru the Bible plus some other means??? How can we know when a message that claims to be from God actually is from God??? Can we understand Revelation from God??? Do individuals have the ability to understand Scripture or must they rely on the Judgment of the Catholic Church???
Catholic Challenge: Cite a moral, religious, or spiritual truth from your oral tradition that is (1) essential to our salvation, but (2) not already taught within the Bible. Whatever is listed must be essential to our salvation or it cannot rightly said to be a part of the gospel which is God’s power to salvation. (Rom 1:16). Whatever is cited cannot already be taught within the Bible or else it would not be apostolic tradition. (2 Thes 2:15).
