Anti-ism, as used in this study, means forbidding what God permits or binding an optional arrangement as divine law. It is not a license to dismiss a person with a label. Examine the actual teaching. Christ’s authority rules out both unauthorized additions and human restrictions. First identify the authorized action. Then distinguish a lawful means from a change to the action. A baptistery supplies water for immersion; it does not replace immersion. A songbook supplies the words for singing; an instrument adds another kind of music. Convenience cannot authorize a different act. First Timothy 5:16 distinguishes a believing person’s responsibility from the church’s burden. Preserve that distinction when studying the passage. A conclusion about a particular benevolent arrangement must be argued from its relevant texts and circumstances; neither a label nor a copied discussion settles the question. Answering before hearing is folly. Read the actual claim, identify who is speaking, and examine the quoted passages in context. A saved article or debate can contain opposing speakers and several Bible versions. Its presence in an archive does not make every paragraph Kevin Walker’s statement or prove a conclusion true.
