ABRAHAM'S FAITH
Abraham demonstrates faith that trusts God enough to obey. Romans 4 excludes meritorious boasting; James 2 excludes dead, inactive faith. Hebrews states the relationship plainly: by faith Abraham obeyed. Pattern: GOD SPEAKS → ABRAHAM BELIEVES → ABRAHAM OBEYS → GOD FULFILLS HIS PROMISE.
