Hear the gospel
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Allow Scripture to interpret Scripture. Follow the pattern God has revealed in His Word.
Find a starting point, follow related lessons, and prepare a personal or class study.
Find studies across the pattern collections, browse by Bible book, and gather readings for a lesson.
Search the patterns and Scripture comparisons from both books, with their complete source sections and chapter context.
The purpose behind our name
A biblical pattern is the consistent design revealed by God through Scripture. We discover it by gathering all relevant passages, respecting their context, and recognizing direct teaching, approved examples, and necessary conclusions.
The goal is not to force every passage into a human system. It is to let Scripture interpret Scripture and allow God’s Word to define belief, worship, organization, and daily life.
Follow Scripture step by step
Open the Scripture Chain Explorer → Compare paired KJV passages, follow the six steps of the Plan of Salvation, and check your understanding.
Select an approved biblical pattern and move through its principal KJV passages one at a time. Each passage opens in the Bible Program for complete contextual study.

Step 3
Acts 17:30

Step 4
Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Step 5
Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Step 6
Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Trace recorded miracles, signs, supernatural judgments, healings, deliverances, provisions, and resurrections from Genesis through Acts. Parallel accounts are usually grouped into one record. The passage-book filter includes every cited book.
Counting Jesus’ miracles: The 37-event study sequence groups Gospel episodes and selected parallel passages. Broader lists also include unnamed healing summaries, authority given to disciples, appearances after the resurrection, or a separate reading of Luke 11:14–23. The principal-agent filter also includes Jesus-associated records outside the 37-event view, including signs in Acts. These are editorial study counts, not a limit stated by Scripture (John 20:30; 21:25).

Study Aid Notice: Fulfillment relationships should be established from Scripture itself. This directory emphasizes explicit New Testament applications and clear narrative fulfillments; it does not use speculative timetables or date-setting.
Study biblical promises with their original audience, stated conditions, and covenant setting. This directory distinguishes promises made to individuals, Israel, the apostles, disciples, Christians, and all who meet a stated condition.
Loading the promises directory…
Study Aid Notice: A promise must be read in its own covenant and audience context. The presence of a promise in Scripture does not by itself mean it was made directly to every reader; New Testament application must be established from Scripture.
Study Christ’s commands with their original audience and setting. Continuing discipleship commands are distinguished from personal instructions, the apostles’ temporary mission directions, and messages to particular congregations.
Loading the commands directory…
Study Aid Notice: Audience and setting matter. A command given personally to Peter, to the apostles before Pentecost, or to one first-century congregation should not be applied identically to every Christian without New Testament authority.
Search apostolic commands and responsibilities from Acts through Revelation. General Christian duties are distinguished from personal, role-specific, congregation-specific, miraculous-gift, and corrective instructions.
Loading the New Testament commands…
Study Aid Notice: These records organize stated commands and responsibilities; they do not treat every grammatical imperative as an independent universal law. Read each instruction in its inspired audience, covenant, role, and congregational context.

Study Aid Notice: Warning passages reveal genuine danger and the divinely required response. Read each warning in context; do not erase its force, detach it from its audience, or use it to contradict clear passages concerning God's grace and faithful obedience.

Compare completed conversions, corrected understanding, mixed audiences, delayed decisions, and rejected responses. Each account shows who heard, who taught, what response occurred, and the complete chain of relevant KJV verses.
Loading Acts conversion accounts…
Study Aid Notice: No single account must be isolated from the rest. Acts presents one gospel through complementary records: hearers are taught Christ, believe the revealed message, repent where required, confess faith where recorded, are baptized in water, and continue faithfully. Miraculous signs confirm apostolic inclusion or teaching and do not replace gospel obedience.
Study every New Testament KJV verse using the explicit mutual-relationship formulas “one another,” “one to another,” “one toward another,” “one with another,” “each other,” or “among yourselves.” Positive duties, negative warnings, and narrative uses are distinguished.
Loading mutual-responsibility passages…
Study Aid Notice: Some verses describe conduct rather than command it, and some warn against destructive mutual behavior. The category label assists study; the complete verse and chapter context remain authoritative.
Search every KJV verse containing bless, blessed, blesseth, blessing, or blessings. Explore divine promises, covenant blessings, beatitudes, commands to bless, prayer, praise, and narrative pronouncements throughout Scripture.
Loading 459 blessing passages…
Study Aid Notice: A recorded blessing, covenant promise to Israel, beatitude, prayer, and general spiritual principle are not interchangeable. Read the original audience, conditions, covenant setting, and surrounding argument before applying a passage.
KJV wording index: These records collect matching words and phrases. A match may be literal, ordinary, or figurative; the subject group is a navigation aid, so read the linked passage in context.
Search every KJV verse containing an explicit cardinal or ordinal number word. Compare ordinary counts, time periods, measurements, populations, prophetic settings, and passages in which repeated numbers may carry contextual significance.
Loading the complete number-word index…
Study Aid Notice: Numbers ordinarily retain their plain numerical meaning. Repetition alone does not prove symbolism. A symbolic meaning should be established by the immediate context and by Scripture’s own use—not by speculative numerology.
KJV wording index: These records collect matching words and phrases. A match may be literal, ordinary, or figurative; the subject group is a navigation aid, so read the linked passage in context.
Search KJV passages involving length, distance, capacity, weight, money, valuation, hours, watches, days, weeks, months, years, Sabbaths, and new moons.
Loading the complete measurement index…
Study Aid Notice: Modern equivalents for ancient units are estimates and can vary by era, region, material, and scholarly reconstruction. This directory prioritizes the inspired KJV wording and passage context rather than asserting false precision.

Loading the complete sacred-calendar index…
Study Aid Notice: Israel’s commanded feast days and Sabbaths belong to their stated covenant setting. New Testament references must be read in context; this directory does not impose the Law of Moses upon Christians or treat later traditions as inspired commands.

Trace patriarchal altars, the Levitical priesthood and offerings, Israel’s worship, prophetic correction, Christ’s once-for-all sacrifice, and the spiritual service of Christians.
Loading the complete sacrifice and priesthood index…
Study Aid Notice: Animal sacrifices and the Levitical priesthood belonged to the former covenant and pointed forward to Christ. Read the Law, prophets, Gospels, and Hebrews together; do not confuse fulfilled shadows with the spiritual sacrifices Christians offer under the new covenant.

Trace the Mosaic tabernacle and its furnishings, Solomon’s temple, later temple history, synagogues, Christ’s temple teaching, the church as God’s temple, and heavenly sanctuary imagery.
Loading the complete sanctuary index…
Study Aid Notice: Distinguish the physical tabernacle and temples, ordinary synagogue settings, Christ’s body, the church as God’s spiritual temple, and heavenly imagery. The surrounding passage determines the meaning.

Trace civil rulers, judges, prophets, priests, Levites, scribes, apostles, elders, bishops, deacons, evangelists, pastors, teachers, ministers, and military leaders throughout Scripture.
Loading the complete office and leadership index…
Study Aid Notice: Similar English titles do not make every office identical. Respect each covenant, historical period, inspired qualification, assigned work, and local-church context. In the New Testament, elder, bishop, and shepherd language should be compared carefully in Acts 20 and 1 Peter 5.
KJV wording index: These records collect matching words and phrases. A match may be literal, ordinary, or figurative; the subject group is a navigation aid, so read the linked passage in context.
Search domestic animals, wild creatures, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, sea creatures, insects, and small creatures in historical, legal, poetic, figurative, prophetic, and apocalyptic settings.
Loading the complete Bible-creature index…
Study Aid Notice: Creature names in the KJV sometimes reflect older English or uncertain zoological identification. Preserve the inspired passage and its literary purpose; do not force a modern species identification where the underlying term is debated.

Search trees and timber, vines and fruit, grain and field crops, herbs and vegetables, spices and perfumes, thorns and weeds, flowers and grasses, and food and drink throughout Scripture.
Loading the complete plant and food index…
Study Aid Notice: Some KJV plant names use older English, and some Hebrew or Greek species identifications remain uncertain. The passage’s inspired teaching does not depend upon forcing an identification beyond the available evidence.

Search KJV colors, metals, gems, fabrics, coverings, construction materials, jewelry, crowns, and other objects used in worship, daily life, trade, royal display, and prophetic imagery.
Loading the complete color and material index…
Study Aid Notice: A color, metal, stone, or fabric may be literal in one passage and figurative in another. Symbolic meaning must come from the inspired context and Scripture’s own comparisons, not from a universal color or gemstone code.

Search the sun, moon, stars, heavens, rain, dew, snow, hail, clouds, wind, storms, seasons, floods, drought, famine, earthquakes, fire, smoke, and related KJV language.
Loading the complete natural-event index…
Study Aid Notice: Scripture uses the natural world literally, poetically, providentially, miraculously, and prophetically. The immediate passage and its Old or New Testament setting determine whether language describes an ordinary event, a sign, covenant judgment, or symbolic imagery.

Loading the complete spiritual-being and vision index…
Study Aid Notice: Angels are created messengers and are not deceased human beings. Not every dream is revelation, and inspired dreams and visions served God’s revealed purpose. Scripture condemns divination, sorcery, necromancy, and attempts to contact the dead.
