Claim examined: Faith, grace, and obedience

Scriptural Answer

Hello Stanley,   You said: “YOU SAID THAT I CLAIM TO BE AN APOSTLE AND I DONT SPEAK THE TRUTH,CAN YOU PROOF ME IN MY WORDS WHERE I HAVE LIE???”   My response: I am still waiting for you to provide the proof that you are an Apostle of Jesus Christ…     My last post stated: “You claim that you are an Apostle of Christ however, you are not speaking the truth.   The apostles and prophets were God's chosen ambassadors to deliver "the faith" to mankind and their work has been COMPLETED.   NO ONE today possesses their qualifications. NO ONE has their spiritual gifts and miraculous powers.   By inspiration of the Holy Spirit they were guided into ALL TRUTH as Jesus had promised.   When we read the things they wrote, WE CAN UNDERSTAND their knowledge in the mystery of Christ (Eph. 3:3-4).   ALL THINGS of the will of Christ are recorded in the WRITTEN NT of Christ (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:3).   It contains ALL that God has bound upon us and ALL by which we will be judged in the last day.   The Bible warns us of these men like you who make false claims, "For they are false prophets, deceitful workers, distinguishing themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself disguises himself as an angel of light. It is not great thing, then, if his ministers disguise themselves as ministers of justice." (2 Cor. 11:13- 15).” If you are an Apostle of Jesus Christ, then you should have no problem proving it…   You said: “SEE,YOU ARE TALKING TOO MUCH,EVERY HUMAN BEING HAVE A GIFT AND TALENTS,AND THIS MINISTERAL WORK IS A DIVINE CALL AND NOT EVERY ONE HAS THE DIVINE CALL BUT DECIDE TO SERVE GOD AND TO REACH HIS WORD TO NATIONS BUT THEY ARE NOT CALLED,OKAY,MINISTERAL WORK IS GIFT FROM GOD THAT CAMES NATURALLY TO YOU AND WHEN YOU HAVE IT,THAT MEANS YOU ARE REALLY CALLED BY GOD FOR THE WORK OF HIS MINISTER AND YOU MUST OBEY IT.”   My response: Now I am talking too much??? There is no such thing as a “Divine Call”… The word of God is silent on this issue… I decided to serve God and I did not need this so called “divine call” to be able to serve Him… You have been duped into believing the Calvinist lie of Irresistable Grace… This false doctrine will lead many souls on the broad road that leads to destruction… (Matthew 7:13-14).     You said: “SO ARE CALLED BUT DID NOT GO FOR MINISTERIAL COURSES  BUT THE ANOINTING IS UPON THEY,THEY MAY MAKE A MISTAKE IN PREACHING THE WORD BUT WHEN EVER THEY PRAY,MIRACLE TAKE PLACE AND THE PEOPLE WILL RELLY KNOWN THAT THE PERSON IS REALLY CALLED,MY CALLING TODAY IS WHEN I DISCOVER IT THEN I DEVOLOP IT BY GOING THREE MONTHS MINISTERIAL COURSE AND 3 MONTHS HEALING SCHOOL ALSO AND SINCE THEM,ANY MEETING I ATTEND,WHEN EVER I AM GIVING AN OPPORTUNATE TO PRAY,THE PEOPLE GOT SHOOK AND WHEN EVER PRAY FOR THE SICK IMMEDIATELY HE RECOVER AND MANY SIGNS AND WONDERFUL THAT I HAVE DONE IN THE NAME OF JESUS,PEOPLE KNOWN,BECAUSE GOD TOLD ME MY SON GO OUT AND PREACH THE WORD,I HAVE ANOINT YOUR LIPS.”   My response: You have also been duped into believing that miracles still occur… It also appears that you believe in Holy Spirit baptism…   Holy Spirit baptism doesn't exist today, and there are no more apostles contrary to your claim that you are one.   Spiritual gifts were for the church in its infancy.   They were called childish things that would be put away when the church became mature.   Paul says in 1 Corinthians 13:11, "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child... But when I became a man (mature) I put away childish things".   Speaking of the miraculous gifts, that in verse 8 "will vanish away" and in verse 9 "will be done away".   The only way the church could become complete (mature) was through ALL Scripture . (2 Timothy 3:16-17).   The complete (perfect) law of liberty. (James 1:25).   In the years following the establishment of the church, the will of God had not been fully revealed, written and confirmed by miracles.   It was yet in part!!!   The sole purpose of miracles was to CONFIRM the newly revealed work. (John 20:30-31).   Once all scripture was given by inspiration of God, confirmed and written, it became the COMPLETE (PERFECT) Law of Liberty, able to make the man of God Perfect (Complete), thoroughly furnished unto every good work. (2 Timothy 3:17). Since we now have that which is "perfect" (1 Corinthians 3:10), that which is Complete Mature, Confirmed word of God, in which are "all things that pertain to life and Godliness" and by which we can become Complete (Mature) as Christians, there remains NO NEED for gifts today.   They have served the purpose for which they were intended!!!   You who claim Holy Spirit baptism and miraculous gifts exist today obviously do so WITHOUT biblical support.   You are a PRETENDER and FALSE CLAIMANT of something that DOES NOT EXIST.   You knowing or unknowingly arrogantly place yourself on an equality with the apostles of Jesus Christ.     You said: “FAITH COMES FROM HEARING,AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD AND AGAIN THE BIBLE IS COMPLICATED,GOD HAS POUR OUT HIS HOLY SPIRIT TO LEND AND DIRECT US ONLY IF YOU GIVE YOUR SELF TO THE HOLY SPIRIT AND OBEY THE HOLY SPIRIT,NOT OBEYING THE FLESH AND SAY THAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT OR YOUR MIND TELLS YOU TO DO THIS AND YOU SAID IS THE HOLY SPIRIT,NO,THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD,THE HOLY SPIRIT IS PERSON,TIME WILL NOT PERMIT ME,TO SHOW YOU SOMETHINGS IN THE SCRITURE BUT AS TIME GOES ON,I WILL BRIEF YOU ON DETAILS ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT AND IN MY NEST MAIL,AFTER I HAVE HEARD FROM YOU,I WILL BREIF YOU TOTALLY ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT,OKAY. THE WORD OF GOD IS COMPLICATED AND IF YOU SAID THAT IS NOT COMPLICATE,WHY GOD HAS CALLED HIS SERVANT TO LEND HIS PEOPLE???MANY PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THE WORD IN DIFERRENT WAYS BUT IF YOU ARE CALLED BY GOD AND THE SPIRIT IS UPON YOU,HE WILL LEND YOU,OKAY.”     My response: The Bible is NOT complicated… If you can read and understand a newspaper or a book, then one can understand the word of God…   There is only one correct way to understand the Bible…   Yes, the Holy Spirit is God…   The ONLY way the Holy Spirit leads us and makes one a Christian today is through the word of God – the Bible… (The seed is the word of God - see Luke 8:11).   The Holy Spirit, along with God and Jesus Christ, participates with men in their conversion. "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit" (1 Corinthians 12:13). That joint participation of the Godhead with us in the forgiveness of sins is non-miraculous and through the Word of God.   All that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit have done to arrange for the forgiveness of sins is conditional upon man's obedience to God's plan of salvation recorded in the Gospel (the New Testament portion of the Bible). First, one must examine what the Bible teaches about salvation in order for faith to develop. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Without faith salvation is impossible. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6); "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins" (John 8:24).   However, faith only is useless. "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" (James 2:20). "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only" (James 2:24). Though men cannot earn salvation, God refuses to grant forgiveness of sins to men who refuse to obey him.   Faith is followed by repentance. All men are required to repent or perish. "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30). "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3).   Profession before others of one's faith in Jesus Christ naturally occurs next. "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10). One New Testament character worded his profession: ". . . I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God" (Acts 8:38).   Baptism (immersion) is the point at which sins are forgiven. "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 3:21). "And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord" (Acts 22:16). Baptism, though, does not save without the Godhead's role in salvation as well as man's part in his own salvation (i.e., hearing, believing, repenting, professing).   God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit have done their parts toward saving men. However, man also has a role in his own salvation according to Philippians 2:12. "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12).   Man's role is summarized in the Bible as obedience. Speaking of Jesus, "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Hebrews 5:8-9). Obedience is the conditional basis of the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit's roles in our salvation.   Men who do not obey the Gospel will be lost. "And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power" (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9).   Stanley, if you have not obeyed the gospel of Christ then you are not saved…     You said: “I DONT LIKE AUGEMENTS WITH PEOPLE IN THE WORD OF GOD BECAUSE THE WORD IS PURE AND CLEAN,AMEN”     My response: God says in 1 John 4:1-2, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”      For Christ and those who love the truth in Him,   [name omitted]
