Question

False Doctrine Refuted — an original Scripture-based answer.

Sabbath observance, forgiveness, and the covenants

Claim examined: Repentance, confession, and forgiveness

Scriptural Answer

Please show me where it is written in the NT that first we must keep the Sabbath and second that we cannot be accepted as a repentant person if we do not keep the Sabbath in order to have our sins forgiven???   Why did the Apostle Paul speak against the Law and the temple??? (See Acts 21:28).   Did the Apostle Paul tell the Jews that they ought not to circumcise their children nor walk according to the customs??? (See Acts 21:21).   Why did Paul tell the Jews to do this thing if they were to keep the commandments which included the Sabbath???   The Sabbath day was only given to the Israelites, not to Christians... Since we are no longer under the Old Covenant with its fleshly ordinances, we are now under a New Covenant with better promises as the first covenant has become obsolete. (See Heb. 8:13).
