Scriptural Answer

Anthony,   My name is [name omitted] and I have a couple of questions about the Truth Baptist Church… You say on your website: http://www.truthbaptist.net/truth_baptist_006.htm   "We believe that in order to be saved, sinners must be born again; that the new birth is a new creation in Christ Jesus; that it is instantaneous and not a process; that in the new birth the one dead in trespasses and in sins is made a partaker of the divine nature and receives eternal life, the free gift of God; that the new creation is brought about by our sovereign God in a manner above our comprehension, solely by the power of the Holy Spirit in connection with divine truth, so as to secure our voluntary obedience to the gospel"   You claim that one must obey the gospel however on your salvation page located at: http://www.truthbaptist.net/truth_baptist_009.htm you do not mention the gospel nor what one must do in order to obey the gospel...   What is the gospel and what must one do in order to obey it???   You do say "Right now pray to God, tell Him that you are a sinner, admit to him that you cannot save yourself, and ask Him to save you.  And you have His promise that He will."   Can you please give an example of where anyone in the Bible said a prayer and was saved???   Looking forward to your response,   [name omitted]
