"Ridiculous [name omitted]. The water is representitive of a deeper truth." No, not ridiculous Faith, it is actually what the Bible teaches... Water means exactly what it states... Water... And I challenge you to prove otherwise... Unless one is baptized in water for the remission of their sins, they are still in their sins whether you choose to accept it or not for this is what has been plainly revealed in Scripture.
